Introduction

thinkorswim is a sophisticated trading platform built for active investors.

The challenge was to bring its powerful capabilities to a more accessible web experience without sacrificing the functionality experienced traders expected.

As the product evolved beyond its initial MVP, we expanded its capabilities, improved navigation, and prepared the platform for international markets.

My role

I managed the product design team during a period of significant growth, as thinkorswim Web evolved from an MVP toward a more comprehensive trading platform.

I helped shape the product direction as we expanded support for advanced charting and futures trading, while balancing the needs of experienced traders with increasing product complexity.

I also recruited and onboarded designers, including building team relationships and supporting new hires during the transition to fully remote work.
